Congratulations to our Junior school drama in collaboration with Hunterhouse College for their unique and immersive production of Twelfth night set in the Isle of Mull with music inspired by The Proclaimers. The show had everything from kilts to cranachan. We were kept on our toes with the inclusion of a ‘Greek-chorus’ that included Sailors and Sea-Sprites. After the final bows, the cast paid a special tribute to our retiring Principal with their own rendition of ‘When you go, will you send back letters from America’ before presenting her with a unique bouquet filled with scottish themed blossoms in keeping with the ‘highland hues’ of our production.
Thank you to all of the production team and a special mention to Mr Stuart McLees, who, alongside his son Josh 9D and Henry Spencer 10P provided bagpipes and drums under our marquee at Christchurch as the Principal, Board of Governors and guests arrived.
