⚜️ Congratulations to the 19 Year 11 Explorer Scouts who successfully completed their Silver DofE/Chief Scout’s Diamond Qualifying Expeditions in excellent conditions in the Mournes over the last 3 days - Louis Campbell, Sebastian Clark, Matt Courtney, Seth Cousins, Adam Currie, Caleb De Silva, Ronan Devlin, Ross Frizzell, Ruairi Harris, Finnian Mantell, Finlay McAdam, Max McCarthy, Ryan Montgomery, Harry Murdock, Justin Oluwaniyi, David Parpauta, Jacob Smyth, Sam Wallace and Daniel Williams! 👏
All 3 groups performed very well over the 3 days despite the heat and poor water quality in the Mournes. One group struggled on day 2 but recovered well to qualify today - it was impressive to see their resilience and desire to succeed.
Many thanks go to supervisors Mr D Scott and Mr Roy as well as assessor Mr Ashley Parks for giving up so much of their time and for being so committed to the Award Schemes at 74th! It is much appreciated. 👏
