It was an incredible week of hockey, with RBAI remaining undefeated across all five fixtures. Most impressively, four of these matches were cup fixtures, and the school successfully progressed in every single one.
Cup Success
- 2nd XI (Dowdall Cup): Produced the performance of the day with a massive 11-0 victory over Wallace.
- 3rd XI (Dowdall Cup): Showed great resilience against Friends; after a 2-2 draw in regulation time, they secured the win on “Run Ins” (penalty shootouts).
- Under 15’s (Richardson Cup): Progressed with a convincing 4-1 win against Friends.
- Under 13’s (Bannister Bowl Plate): Won a tight, defensive battle against Banbridge B’s, finishing 1-0.
Senior Friendly
- 1st XI: The senior team rounded off the successful run with a solid 3-1 win over Banbridge in their friendly match.
