The R.B.A.I. Table Tennis Club has resumed after a number of years with high numbers of participants attending the club on Tuesday lunch times for year 8 and Thursday lunch times for years 9 and 10. Overall there has been 200 different pupils attending at lunch each week since Christmas, highlighting the inclusive approach at R.B.A.I. in developing “participation and excellence.”

R.B.A.I. has entered three teams into the Ulster Schools’ Table Tennis Competition, taking place at Lisburn Racquets Club. Three teams, for those at under 13, under 15 and under 19 level will be representing R.B.A.I. Practice for those wishing to represent school takes place on Thursdays after school, with up to 30 boys taking part. It is extremely encouraging to see the high numbers of boys participating in Table Tennis, with a number of boys playing outside of school for various clubs in the Belfast Area. The future is extremely bright for Table Tennis at R.B.A.I.
