Cross Country

The school Cross Country runs in the winter term and the pupils compete in the District, Ulster, and Irish Championships. The selection for these events are based on the annual Inter House Competition which is run in the last week before the Christmas Break. This event takes place at the Osborne playing fields and in recent years the course has developed into a real authentic course with a section through the trees and a number of difficult hill climbs. In recent years the Club have experienced tremendous success and the current up and coming star in Jack McCausland in Year 10. This is the second year in a row that a number of boys have qualified for the Irish Cross Country Championships and Jack was the Captain of the Irish Junior Boys Team when they competed in the recent International Cross Country Event.
