RBAI Launch 2023/24 Scholarship & Exhibition programme

The 2023/24 Scholarship & Exhibition programme is now open for applications. These awards are sponsored by alumni and friends of the school to promote excellence and aspiration across academia, sport and the arts.

Whilst some awards are given on a multi-year basis and will not reopen until next autumn, the following awards are available to pupils this year:

Mark Dowds Innovation & Entrepreneurship Scholarship - open to pupils in Years 13 & 14

Kilmoyangie Scholarship for Pupil Development*

Susan L Gillen Senior Academic Scholarship

Adair Family Sports Scholarship - open to pupils in Years 13 & 14

Robert Howard Swimming Exhibition

Tom Reid Hockey Exhibition

Dr Kenneth Watson Sports Exhibition

*Please note the Kilmoyangie Scholarship is not open for applications. Selection will be overseen by the Principal and Vice Principals, utilising academic assessments in Year 9 and Year 10, alongside PTiE and PTiM scores.

All applicants must return a completed application form to the front office by Wednesday 25th October 2023 at 4pm. The criteria for each award and application forms are available here.

Scholarship winners receive a contribution towards fees and a cash award to help them pursue their talent/interest. Exhibition winners receive a cash award.

It was a privilege to travel to Munich and Nuremburg with the History Department. The 34 History A level pupils and their teachers, Mr Woods and Mr Gamble, were able to see at first hand the History of their classroom textbooks with insightful trips

Ardmore Advertising opened their doors to fifteen Year 13 pupils from RBAI on the 15th November, providing the students with the opportunity to experience the exciting world of advertising.
