KS3 Celebrates C.S Lewis
KS3 Drama pupils were thrilled to take part in a physical theatre workshop with Stage and TV actor, Adam Gillian. Gillian coached the boys on Characterisation as they embodied Mr Tumnus, The Beavers and other characters from the beloved classic 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.' Gillian is coming back again in the new year to do an advanced class on 'live performance skills' for our KS3 budding actors.
Later on in the day the Drama Department, supported by our wonderful librarian Ms Kirsten Scott, hosted a 'C.S LEWIS CELEBRATION' event in Christchurch. With Narnian themed treats (hot chocolate and Turkish delight), a Narnia inspired quiz AND staff members delivered special dramatic readings from The Chronicles of Narnia novels.
We look forward to next year's C.S Lewis Celebration.
