Congratulations to the Sixth Form on their A Level and BTEC results. The results demonstrate RBAI continues to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with boys choosing wisely and working well.

Congratulations to the Sixth Form on their A Level and BTEC results. The results demonstrate RBAI continues to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with boys choosing wisely and working well.

There are notable individual successes including the Head of School Angus Adair with 1A* 2A; Peter Adair 2A* 1A; Joel Carson 1A* 2A,; Barry Cheevers 3A; Matthew Dalzell 3A; Daniel Eakin (Deputy Head of School) 3A; Alexis Gowdy 2A* 1B; Nick Irvine 2A* 1A; James Kavanagh-Cranston 3A 1B; Nkosinathi Khumalo (Deputy Head of School) 1A* 3A; William McMullen 1A* 2A; Nicholas Moore 3A* and Peter Todd 3A.

The BTEC results are excellent with the vast majority of results either a Distinction or Distinction star. Highlights include Aaron Marshall and Jack Miller with 2 Distinction stars and 1 Distinction; in addition, Jared Wait, Joel Stewart, Benjamin Ritchie, Josh Robinson and Ross Smyth have 2 Distinction stars.

The AS results reflect extremely well on the boys, their teachers, the curriculum choices and the student engagement in learning. The % 3A*-C is at a record high and we celebrate the collective and individual achievements: 4As Reuben Brown, Callum Bryson, Patrick Colon-O’Leary, Keelan Sloan and Patrick Stafford; Oscar Lowe a superb 3A 1A* (A* in A2 Mathematics). Eight of the boys achieved their A2 Mathematics in Year 13, with 1B, 5A and 2A*. The boys achieving 3A Grades include Mark Austin, Oliver Connolly, Hugo Ellerby, Callum Harley, Cameron Johnston, Paddy Mackey, Abdullah Majeed, Sam McLarnon, TJ Pallin and Josh Patterson.

Congratulations to all of the Sixth Form and we wish them well as they continue with their studies either at RBAI in Year 14 or at University.

Parents, grandparents and any other friends of the School are welcome to attend the annual Remembrance Ceremony at RBAI on Monday 11/11/19 at 11.00am. The School Dining Hall will be open for refreshments from 10.30am.

On Thursday 17th October pupils, parents and staff enjoyed Inst’s Annual Prize Distribution and the opportunity to celebrate the numerous curricular and co-curricular successes of the year past.
