Year 8 Curriculum Drama took part in an interactive Shakespeare workshop with Northern Irish and RBAI alumni, Adam Gillian. Adam has just completed a run in ‘Belfast Actually 2’ at ‘Theatre at the Mill’ and will be returning to The Lyric Theatre, Belfast to once again play the role of Jack ‘Ernest’ Worthing in Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of being Earnest’.
Having played the title role of ‘Romeo’ in Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ twice, Adam guided the year 8 boys through Act1 scene 1, teaching the pupils craft and characterisation.
We look forward to welcoming Adam again in the summer term for our production of Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth night’ alongside girls from Hunterhouse College.
