12 Points or more are required for direct entry to Sixth Form Registration for Sixth Form is Friday 23 August at 11.30 am, in the Sixth Form Centre and you must be in full school uniform.
Congratulations to the Sixth Form on their A Level and BTEC results. The results demonstrate RBAI continues to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with boys choosing wisely and working well.
Hockey Players. Instonians HC are running skills sessions for RBAI pupils who are in years 10 or above.
Earlier this year, members of Year 11 took part in the National Biology Challenge, supported by the British Biology Olympiad.
Congratulations to the 23 Year 11 Explorer Scouts and 25 Year 10 Scouts who successfully completed their Silver and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions respectively in the Mourne Mountains at the end of last week.
‘Congratulations to the Senior Tennis Squad of Dylan Leeman, Ethan Hance, Brett Eastwood, Josh Patterson and William Hurst who defeated Bangor Grammar 4-2 in the Senior School’s Cup final on Friday.
In the final of the McCullough Cup League on Saturday 22nd June the school faced Campbell College at all age groups. With all teams winning, the school won this final overall.
Congratulations to Thomas Lowry, Callum Soper and Thomas Green who qualified for and sat the Junior Kangaroo.
Well done to our 1stXI captain Oliver Metcalfe who opened the batting for Ireland Wolves against Scotland ‘A’ .
Our final day of RBAI Commerce Week started off with a fantastic insight into the various roles within the auto industry, particularly the world of sales.
Day three of Commerce Week started at Danske Bank where we were given the unique opportunity to learn more about the modern banking industry through a range of presentations, outlining the bank’s core responsibilities.
To begin the second day of Commerce Week we were fortunate enough to be the first year that got to visit BAFTA award winning media company JAM who specialise mainly in animation productions.
To start the week, we visited Invest NI to give us an overview of the Northern Irish economy and learn about local business. While there we learned about the importance of the private sector.
All parents are invited to the launch of the ‘Part of Our History, Part of Our Future’ initiative, which will directly benefit all our pupils. The event will be held in the Dining Hall on Wednesday 5 June, 6:30-7:30pm.
RBAI was honoured to receive an invitation to a service marking the unveiling of the Roll of Honour for the pre-World War II Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve & receiving of the No. 502 (Ulster) Squadron Standard.
