Thank you so much to Adam Gillian (RBAI 2003 - 2010) for taking time out of his hectic performance schedule this week to run a Shakespeare workshop with some pupils from Year 10. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to study Shakespearean language in the context of dramatic performance and finished full of enthusiasm for The Bard.
Adam, whose recent roles include parts in Moulin Rouge, Hope Street, Doctors and Counsel, is currently playing Romeo in the Lyric Theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet.
The production is set in rival fashion houses in contemporary Verona and was adapted by Dr Bailie, so has close links with the school.
You can see Adam on stage in Romeo and Juliet at the Lyric Theatre until 5th March; book now before it’s too late!
