On October 20th, about 150 people gathered in the Dining Hall at RBAI to celebrate the last year of Scouting at 74th.
Deputy Group Chairman James Garrett presented the review of the year; Beavers John Maitland and Nicky Rendo along with Cubs Cole Larmour-Wheeler and Oscar McClean presented their respective sectional reviews; Senior Prefect Freddie Clark presented the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award report; and Quartermaster Yago Azuara-Lois enjoyed recounting stories from the Switzerland Summer Camp.
New Cubs Henry Brown and Ross McMahon were invested into the Pack while Scott Burgess, Charlie Davis, Carter Gray, Bryson McClelland, Antonia McKenna, Connor McMath, Jake Olliver and Harry Whitear were invested into the Scout Troop which was fantastic to see! Belfast County Commissioner Stephen Mallett helped with this important ceremony.
It was great to welcome Inchmarlo Headteacher Mrs Morwood, Deputy Belfast County Commissioner Scott Robinson and Vice-Principal Mr Allen to present badges and awards to the boys. Lady Bloomfield MBE and Mr John Fitzsimmons attended to present their trophies. The Principal Miss Williamson presented the other main trophies on the evening.
