Academic Achievements: GCSE August 2024
The GCSE pathways at RBAI establish the opportunities for every individual pupil to develop his skills, knowledge and understanding to fulfil his potential. The outcomes this year, once again, demonstrate how the boys have been enabled and supported to return to the Sixth Form and to progress to University and Apprenticeships at the highest level. The expectation was that the results would reflect the 2019 outcomes, and this is reflected in the outcomes across Northern Ireland. Congratulations to the pupils of RBAI in exceeding these outcomes and to everyone who supported, motivated and guided them.
In 2024 69% of pupils achieved an A*/B; in 2019 60% achieved an A*/B
In 2024 85% of pupils achieved A*-C*; in 2019 78% achieved A*-C*.
With 30 of the boys achieving 30-40 points, congratulations in particular to Luke Holland and Jonah Power with 21 A*/A between them.
