Class of 2017 - Leaving day

The class of 2017 - upper sixth - enjoyed a pre school cycle, followed by an Ulster Fry, before their study leave. The boys were in good spirits and the school wishes them every success in their forthcoming examinations.

 

 

Summer Scheme News and Information 2017

Back due to popular demand is this year’s summer scheme 2017. The scheme is running for 2 weeks.thumbSmile17

Week 1 is from Monday 24th July - Friday 28th of July

Week 2 is from Monday 31st July - Friday 4th of August.

Royal Belfast Academical Institution Rugby Awards 2017

RugbyAwards1 thumbOn Friday night the annual Rugby Awards dinner took place in school. The evening was a great celebration of the past season and was topped off by having Irish Rugby coach Joe Schmidt present as the guest speaker. Joe shared thoughts on his previous experience as a teacher and coach in New Zealand along with challenging the boys to take shared experiences from rugby into life after school.

 

 

Update from former pupil Alastair Herron

Former pupil Alastair Herron who left RBAI in June 2013 having achieved 7A* in his A levels will be graduating from Stanford University in California in June.  He was accepted to the chemistry ‘honors program’ at Stanford, which entails the writing of a thesis on research and taking several advanced classes in chemistry. He is also continuing to take classes in Japanese language and aims to take some level of the Japanese government's proficiency exam (JLPT) in the near future.
