The success at GCSE mirrors the recent excellent A2 examination results, demonstrating the quality of curriculum provision at RBAI. We are delighted with the 100% A*-C in Mathematics, Art & Design, Astronomy, Biology, Computer Science, History, ICT, Latin, Motor Vehicle Studies and Science.
Individual successes and highlights include Solomon Trimble with A* in Astronomy, English Language, English Literature, French, Mathematics, Music and Religious Studies with the equivalent Grade 9 in Latin and A in Biology, Chemistry, German, Greek and Further Mathematics. His peers, Oscar Lowe and Keelan Sloan with 43 points and Patrick Stafford with 42 points, excelled in additional subjects History, Physics, Geography and Spanish.
The overall % A*-A shows an increase of 10% from 2017, with 99.9% of the boys achieving A*-C. The results provide an excellent foundation for AS levels, with boys continuing their education at RBAI. The Sixth Form curriculum includes 27 subjects, offering boys the opportunity to play to their strengths and to enhance their subject knowledge and understanding.
Congratulations to the boys and their teachers – an excellent set of results.
