Alex is Man of the Match in Linfield Debut

Congratulations to Alex Moore, 14K, who not only made his debut playing for Linfield on Saturday, but was awarded man of the match as well. The school is extremely proud of Alex, whose performance, composure and ability to excel under pressure have been praised by Linfield manager David Healy.

This year’s Founders’ Assembly was especially significant as it marked the10 year anniversary of the appointment of our principal, Miss Janet Williamson. This, along with the thought-provoking speeches of both our guest speaker, Mr. Colin Russell and Head of School, Theo Millar, as well as the magnificent musical renditions given by the orchestra, made for a momentous and memorable occasion. 

 

Inchmarlo Top of the League at AQE

There is a new spring in the step of our P7's this morning following an outstanding set of AQE results at the weekend.  All of the boys achieved above the entry score for RBAI from last year with over 50% of the boys achieving over 110. Most importantly all the boys’ test scores accurately reflected the tracking that we have in place since they first joined the school.

Our Principal: Celebrating Ten Years at the Top

inst 18 of 42 iconIn its 200 year history, Inst has celebrated innumerable successes and been regarded as one of the predominant institutions of educational innovations in the country.  This month marks a significant anniversary in the life of the institution. In January 2007 the newly appointed Janet Williamson began her tenure as Principal of RBAI, the first female principal of a boys’ grammar school in the British Isles. Her time here has been characterised by the introduction of many brave and visionary initiatives befitting the school’s ethos and the celebration of a huge number of accolades.
