Business Insight 2012

thumbRecently, RBAI’s Business Studies Department (with help from the Careers Department) hosted its annual Business Insight Conference for all Year 13 pupils. The day was facilitated by Barbara Hume from Sentinus. Throughout the day students developed their team-working, decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills as they worked in teams of 8 alongside a volunteer from the local business community.

RBAI Pupils selected for European Cricket Academy!

Congratulations to Head Boy Ben Wylie and former pupil James Shannon, who have both been selected for the 2012 ICC European Cricket Academy. The aim of the European Academy is to select twelve of the most talented cricketers in Europe, and to assist in their development through excellent coaching and support services in order for them to achieve their potential. The Academy takes place at Pune Sports Club, Pune, India, from 25 February- 7th March 2012.


Pupil invited to Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards


Peter Armstrong is announced 6th February 2012 as one of Ireland’s top 20 youth volunteers in the sixth annual Pramerica Spirit of community Awards Programme. He will be honoured at a gala awards ceremony on 27th March at The City Hotel in Derry with special guest John Lonergan, former Governor of Mountjoy Prison.
