On Wednesday 30th September all pupils in Year 8 and 9 took part in the European Day of Languages Quiz. Each House Group competed in three rounds, testing their knowledge of Languages; Flags and European Geography and History.
Dill were the clear winners in Year 9 with Ethan Knipe from Pirrie the highest-scoring individual. In Year 8 the winning House Group was Kelvin with Kelvin pupil Jay Wilson as the top-scorer.
The day also revealed a number of bi-lingual children speaking their mother-tongue at home. These languages ranged from Korean, Malayam; Polish; Russian; Cambodian; Nepali and French.
