ABP Angus Youth Challenge Winners 2019

Congratulations to the RBAI team of Andrew Hamill, Clarke Simpson and Jack Owens who have been selected as one of this year’s ABP Angus Youth Challenge winners.

ABP are an integrated agri-business with local sites in Lurgan and Newry but operating globally. They seek to encourage a rising generation to promote the benefits of Northern Ireland agriculture and the Aberdeen Angus breed.

Our team has been selected as one of four winners, having impressed judges from a wide variety of agricultural and agri-food sectors at a presentation day at Loughry College.

Reaching the presentation day at Loughry was the 3rd stage for the boys, after entering a 3 minute application video, and also shortlisting by an interview.

Our BT1 City centre site may seem an unusual location for the promotion of agriculture and Angus cattle, but the RBAI vision of connecting rural and urban communities has proven to be successful.
