Cara-Friend are now running a 'Stay Connected' project to make sure that young people from the LGBTQ+ community are supported during the Covid 19 lockdown.

They are offering:

* Daily contact via emails and also telephone calls (if desired).

* One to one support via telephone, text and/or Zoom.

* Access to the Cara-Friend Discord chat platform so young people can connect with others in a safe way which is monitored by Cara-Friend.

* Online workshops and discussion through Zoom and Discord.

Young people can also request one to one support if they email youthsupport@cara-friend.org.uk and a member of the youth team will contact them to set up a suitable time and date.

Please see the link below to the induction form that young people must fill in to be a part of the Stay Connected project.

I hope your son is able to access Google Classroom and his emails. Teachers will be using these for on-line teaching and this is already well underway.
