The 2020/21 Scholarship & Exhibition programme is now open for applications. These awards are sponsored by alumni and friends of the school to promote excellence and aspiration across academia, sport and the arts.

2020/21 Scholarship & Exhibition Programme

The 2020/21 Scholarship & Exhibition programme is now open for applications. These awards are sponsored by alumni and friends of the school to promote excellence and aspiration across academia, sport and the arts.

Whilst some awards are given on a multi-year basis and will not reopen until next autumn, the following awards are available to pupils this year:

The Mark Dowds Innovation & Entrepreneurship Scholarship - open to pupils in Years 13 & 14

The Jonathan McCartney Technology and Engineering Scholarship - open to pupils in Years 13 & 14

Music Scholarship - Two Awards open to pupils at Grade 6 and above

The Elite Sports Scholarship - open to pupils in Years 13 & 14

The Robert Howard Swimming Exhibition – open to all age groups

Hockey Exhibition – open to all age groups

All applicants must return a completed application form to the front office by Friday 9 October, 4pm. The criteria for each award and application forms are available here.

Scholarship winners receive a contribution towards fees and a cash award to help them pursue their talent/interest. Exhibition winners receive a cash award.

Wednesday the 3rd of March for years 8 and 9 is an alternative learning day. The idea behind it is to give your son other activities and some downtime from academic studies and the computer screen.
